Mochi

Mochi is a small creature who lives in a room on your Playdate.

Every morning you pick a few little things for the day: drink water, stretch, step outside, thank someone. Mochi watches. When you check in, it asks about them one at a time. Done, skip, later, it's all fine. Each thing you do lights a bulb on the string lights over the shelf.

Turn the crank to pet Mochi. It leans in. Hearts happen. Spin it too fast and the room starts spinning.

Press the d-pad for quick activities:

• breathe, with a slow ring that fills as you do
• stretch, four little poses
• focus, a candle burns down while Mochi reads
• tea, where Mochi looks away from the glow and you stir with the crank
• sit, watch the light move across the window
• water, six pours for the plant on the sill

Mochi never counts, never nags and never mentions what you didn't do. The room keeps score instead: the plant grows a leaf on good weeks, and the jar on the shelf gets a star for every month you visit. Nothing ever wilts.

1. Download Mochi.pdx.zip.
2. Go to play.date/account/sideload and upload it.
3. On your Playdate: Settings, Games, refresh. Mochi appears in your library.
